Abstract
This video focuses on the importance of ensuring that there is coherence and cohesion in the written work. The video explains the role of coherence within an essay. It also explains how coherence can be achieved at a sentence level and a paragraph level. The video then discusses the role of cohesion in an essay. Examples of cohesion are then provided. It also discusses how coherence and cohesion are essential for an argument to hold. The video then provides examples of coherence and cohesion being used in paragraphs. This is video 8/12 in week 3 of the Writing your World course.
