This study investigates the ambivalent traits of third world postcolonialism. Third world postcolonialism appears as an antithesis against the logical fallacy of the binary oppositions performed by the contemporary first world postcolonial theory and practice. The division between the first and the third world postcolonial aesthetics is due to their different interpretations and practices of the term 'postcolonial,' respectively.en_ZA
