dc.description.abstractThis study is particularly concerned with white English-speaking South Africans who were born from 1980 to1989, which this study has named the 'transition generation'. This is a generation of young South Africans who were born on the cusp of apartheid's demise, and therefore they are not completely defined by apartheid nor can they be separated from it.en_ZA
