dc.description.abstractThis thesis addresses the question: how does pedagogy vary, if at all with the use of computers in four disadvantaged grade 6 mathematics classrooms in the Western Cape province of South Africa'? To address this question an exploratory multiple case study design allowed for the collection of data in the form of questionnaires interviews and, primarily classroom observations over the course of a year in four disadvantaged schools.en_ZA
