dc.description.abstractThis thesis details a study into aging-related neurodegeneration of Nothobranchius guentheri and the affect of resveratrol-treatment on this neurodegeneration. The goal of the study was to identify cytological probes by which to study neurodegeneration and use these to deliver novel findings pertaining to Nothobranchius aging and resveratrol induced neuroprotection.en_ZA
