| dc.description.abstract | Peripartum cardiomyopathy (PPCM) remains a significant cause of morbidity and mortality among young women, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa. Despite advances in understanding the pathophysiology of the condition and treatment thereof, including the development of a disease specific therapeutic agent and novelties in heart failure (HF) therapy, recovery rates among patients with PPCM vary widely, influenced by factors that remain incompletely understood. | |
