This is a practical surgical guide to the resection of floor-of-mouth cancers. It outlines relevant surgical anatomy, preoperative assessment, indications for mandibular involvement and resection, surgical access routes, tumour resection principles, and reconstructive options. Particular attention is given to achieving clear oncological margins while preserving oral function, including speech, mastication, swallowing, tongue mobility, mandibular continuity, and cosmetic outcome. The chapter is intended for surgeons and trainees involved in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, and oral cancer management, especially in contexts where clear operative guidance and reconstructive decision-making are essential.
