Abstract
This video focuses on the organ procurement procedure. The video discusses principle behind organ recovery operations. It then goes on to explain the process that takes place. The video explains the initial inspection that takes place and the process that follows afterwards to prevent blood clotting. The video then lists the sequence of organ removal followed by the packaging requirements in preparation for the transfer. This is video 4/7 in week 3 of the Organ Donation course.
