The video focuses on consent for donation after brain death. The video lays out the differences in what is defined as consent in USA and South Africa. The video also discussed Spain's presumed consent policy. It also discusses consent principles and ethical good practice. The video then discusses how doctors developed protocols advised for doctors in South Africa. It also provides an case study to help discuss who signs the consent form. The next point of discussion is the legal sequence of who can sign consent in South Africa. The video then discusses the importance of discussions with the family of the patient. This is video 9/10 in week 1 of the Organ Donation course
