Abstract
In this video UCT Vice Chancellor expresses and endorses his support for open education and open education week - recalling when UCT signed the Cape Town Declaration and launched the Open Content site in 2010. He also speak about openness at UCT in general and in the South African context discussing the Higher Education Green Paper, its opportunities and challenges.
