Abstract
This video discusses the waiting lists for organ transplants. The video then discusses the process and requirements for being placed on the waiting list. It also discusses the waiting list procedures for the kidney transplant waiting list. Behaviours that may result in not being added to the waiting list are also mentioned. The controversy surrounding transplant waiting lists are also discusses with South African and American examples provided. The video then discusses the auditing and matching that takes for those on the waiting list. This is video 6/7 in week 3 of the Organ Donation course.
