Abstract
The study investigates the antimalarial potential of six Ugandan traditional medicinal plants Senecfo discifolius oliv, Senecio stuhlmannii, Indigofera emarginella steud. Ex A. Rich, Aspifia africana (Pers) C.D. Adams, Cardiospermum halicacabum L. and Momordica foetida Schumch. Et Thonn. Selection of the plants was based on ethnobotanical surveys of traditional treatment of malaria symptoms and reports from traditional healers practising in three different communities.
