Abstract

The video focuses on the use on in-text referencing in academic essays. The video discusses how one is required to have a position in the debate therefore uses evidence sourced from elsewhere. The video then states the importance of using evidence from other authors as there are no original ideas. It then touches on the importance of acknowledging the authors & scholars' whose work writers use as evidence. The video provides the procedures for the in-text reference and the reference list. It touches on the style and information to be included in the reference list. The video then provides examples of using in-text referencing.
