dc.description.abstract | This is an introduction to the Python programming language for computational physics. Python is a programming language which is increasingly being used for computation in physics. Python is easy to learn; it is a modern, interpreted, object-oriented language; Python programs are simple, clean and easily readable; and it has a wide range of support packages (or program libraries) useful for numerical computation. This resource is useful for physics and mathematics students looking for open-source programmes to support their work. | en_ZA |
