dc.description.abstractThis video focus on certification of circulatory death. The video also discusses how to define death if a medical practitioner is not able to restart the heart. The video also discusses the differences in guidelines when it comes to different countries. It also touches on how clinical science can be supplemented by evidence of asystole on a continuous ECG display. The video also discusses new therapies that can also be used in situations where there is a route to recovery. The video then explains the importance of doctors understanding the limitations of medical therapy. This is video 5/5 in week 2 of the Organ Donation course.en_US
