| dc.description.abstract | The squid stock assessment model was last implemented in 2013 and at that time included data to 2012. An additional 3 years of data are now available and these have been included in an updated assessment. Sensitivity to incorporating additional survey data as well as a revised trawl catch series has been investigated. A Bayesian analysis has also been conducted and projections 10 years into the future suggest that effort in this fishery be maintained at 250 000 man-days. | en_ZA |
