dc.description.abstractRelative hypovolaemia may be said to exist when there is an imbalance between the intravascular fluid volume and the capacity of the vascular compartment or an imbalance between the vascular space and the remainder of the extracellular fluid (ECF) and intracellular fluid (ICF).
