dc.description.abstractThis paper takes a closer look at CPUE analyses, particularly with a view towards determining the reason for the sharp decline in the standardized CPUE index from 2006 to 2007 for M. capensis. Results from including and excluding night-time trawls are also presented from an analysis of data covering the period 2000-2007.en_ZA
