dc.description.abstractThe Women's Circle (TWC) is a non-profit organization (NPO) that aims to empower women in low-income areas by providing assistance with education and career development. The UCT Knowledge Co-op was able to connect the skills offered by the Honours Outreach and Community Involvement Programme (HOCIP) based in the Information Systems (IS) department to TWC. Luyanda Mhlauli & Ishe Madzime, IS Honours students helped TWC develop a functioning website and train a group of members with basic computer literacy skills.en_ZA
