Coast-wide assessments for the M. capensis and M. paradoxus resources are conducted, taking into account the recommendations of the January 2004 BENEFIT/NRF/BCLME workshop and newly available data. This revised approach allows more data to be taken into account, but these assessments remain separate for the two species at this stage, with past catches split by species external to the model. Projections under a number of future constant catch series are presenteden_ZA
