dc.description.abstractThis Quantitative Study undertook to investigate what family members or caregivers of deceased patients from a private oncology unit in Cape Town experienced during the last week of that patient’s life. The social expectation or conventionally held belief that Good Death is only attainable at home was challenged, with findings indicating that it is possible to achieve a Good Death in a hospital setting.en_ZA
