The Reference Case Ricker model is updated with commercial and survey data from 2018 and 2019. The updated data points lie within the bounds predicted by OMP2018 projections, except for the 2018 proportion of M. capensis in the South Coast offshore trawl fishery catch, which is markedly higher than predicted. The updated assessment results are compatible with the previous Reference Case results and suggest an increase in spawning biomass since 2017 for both species.en_US
