Abstract
The assumption made that the efficiency for each of the policing effort type is similar which is assumed in the GLM approach to obtain confiscations per unit policing effort index by Brandão et al. (2016) is investigated. Results show that this is not the case. GLM estimated poaching trends are also compared with those agreed by the WCRL SWG.
