dc.description.abstractThe current Operational Management Procedure (OMP-04) for the South African sardine and anchovy resources is due to be updated and replaced by OMP-08 by the end of 2007. A number of iterations of proposed “Straw” OMP-08 options have been presented thus far. This document details the latest proposed OMP-08 option, termed here “Straw3” OMP-08 and numerous results are given for this case, for alternative constraints within the OMP rules and for alternative underlying assessment (operating model) assumptions.
