On 25 May 2021, the Land and Accountability Research Centre in cooperation with the Heinrich Böll Stiftung Cape Town hosted a virtual launch of the booklet: “A Woman Is A Strong Person”: The Lived Experiences Of Rural Women Activists.
The booklet celebrates the stories of four rural female land activists and is written by LARC researchers Ayesha Motala and Nokwanda Sihlali.
