Abstract
This video focuses on the medical assessment used to assess the risk of the organs being donated. The video lays out the process of the medical assessment. It discusses the use of blood tests and social history in the process. The video discusses the work of the clinicians in assessing the organs individually. The video then discusses how the assessment is also made intraoperatively. Afterwards the video discusses the assessment of compatibility. This is video 2/7 in week 3 of the Organ Donation course.
