The Reference Case Operating Model (RS02) is projected forward under the rules of OMP2014, as well as variants of OMP2014 where the TAC cap and one of the tuning parameters are adjusted. These results suggest that there is scope for some increase in exploitation of the hake resource, but certain refinements of the methodology still need to be put in place, and similar projections for the remainder of the Reference Set need to be completed.
