    Media sexual and reproductive health taboos in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA)

    Female adolescents in many developing societies are still facing various forms of discrimination due to their gender, race and class. It is thus mandatory to think of sexual and reproductive challenges as a single service delivery system mindset, and look across systems instead of the current dilemma of lack of vision. Among the many obstacles facing media literacy in MENA is the sexual and reproductive health issues in which premarital sexual relationships are generally forbidden, and the media tackling of them is often considered taboo.
