    The South African Child Gauge is a special book about children in South Africa. This collection of papers focuses on 'the meaning of children’s right to social services, and is divided into three parts. Part 1 focuses on legislature affecting children in 2007; Part 2 looks at social service delivery as pertains to children, specifically with regard to their healthcare and protection; and Part 3 consists of numeric indicators on the state of children's health in South Africa..
