    An application of Lindbergs thesis in assessing democratic growth in Zambia

    More specifically, the study examines whether a within country, over time analysis of Zambia, reveal that Zambia is in fact becoming more democratic. The study assesses democratic quality in Zambia using sub-concepts of participation, competition, judicial autonomy, legislative autonomy, executive power, openness, and popular legitimacy of democracy.
